England will be without captain Heather Knight and fast bowler Katherine Brunt for the third one-day international against Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Knight suffered a hamstring injury as England qualified for the 2017 Women’s World Cup with a win on Saturday, while Brunt is out with a thigh problem.
Off-spinner Danielle Hazell will captain the side in Colombo.
“I am sure she will do an excellent job leading the team,” said England head coach Mark Robinson.
Both Knight and Brunt will be reassessed before the fourth and final match of the series on Thursday.
