England stars Tom Wood and Courtney Lawes return to bolster Northampton’s pack for the Champions Cup match at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday.
Ken Pisi and Nic Groom return to the backs but George North has not been considered following his head injury last week and England captain Dylan Hartley starts on the bench.
Leinster are without fly-half Johnny Sexton who has a hamstring injury.
That means Joey Carbery, 21, continues at number 10 for the Pool Four leaders.
Ireland’s first choice Sexton has not played since his injury flared up again during the match against New Zealand on 19 November.
Centre Robbie Henshaw has been passed fit to play, having being sidelined with a concussion suffered in that defeat by the All Blacks.
He will partner new Irish star Garry Ringrose in midfield, with 22-year-old Adam Byrne making his Champions Cup debut on the right wing.
Sean O’Brien returns from injury to play at blind-side flanker.
