Leicester striker Jamie Vardy’s appeal over his red card in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Stoke City has been rejected by the Football Association.
The 29-year-old England international will receive an immediate three-match ban and miss games against Everton, West Ham and Middlesbrough.
He was dismissed in the 28th minute for a tackle on Mame Diouf.
Vardy jumped and made the tackle with two feet. He won the ball but made contact with Diouf’s shins.
