Rangers midfielder Josh Windass returns to Mark Warburton’s squad after missing the last month with hamstring trouble.
Matt Crooks has shaken off a hamstring strain of his own but Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar remain out.
Inverness full-back Lewis Horner faces two months out with a knee injury after going off last week against Kilmarnock.
Scott Boden and Alex Fisher are both fit, but David Raven, Kevin McNaughton and second-choice goalkeeper Ryan Esson remain on the sidelines.
Warburton’s side, on their longest Scottish Premiership winning run of the season, are seeking a fourth successive victory, having beaten Hamilton 2-1 on 16 December.
Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday: “It was our first time getting three in a row last Friday against Accies and now we have a bit of momentum so it’s all guns blazing towards Inverness.
“Complacency is something we can’t let creep in. We have managed to pick a few wins up of late, so it’s important that we go again and try to get a good performance first and foremost.
“We know we need to be at our best to beat Inverness. The last time we played them up at their place [Rangers won 1-0] was a game of two halves. We thought we played really well in the first half that day, and should have been out of sight with a couple of goals.
“But in the second half, Inverness deserved to get something out of the game.
“They had a couple of great chances towards the last 15 or 20 minutes but we held on for the win. We would like to think we are a different team now, however.”
Inverness CT midfielder Ross Draper: “They’ve got quality all over and if you give them a lot of space and time, and too much respect, they can hurt you. We’ve got to put them under pressure – that’s the best way to play against them.
“I’ve missed playing down there – I played when we beat them 3-0 but I was suspended in 2014.
“You don’t want to miss games like that. There’s no more incentive to go down there and give a good account of ourselves.”
