Types of bets (single, parlay, system)
The single bet is the simplest bet on one sporting event. The player must predict the outcome of the match or fight. If we talk about football, there are three options: win, draw, and second team win.
Parlay bet is a bet that combines several single. The essence of it is that you make a bet on the outcome of several events and their coefficients are multiplied by each other. Parlay win-win condition for all single bets without exception – if at least one event ended with another outcome rather than with the way you predicted, you lose your entire stake. Let’s look at an example:
Dynamo – Shakhtar vs Dynamo win at odds of 1.8
Napoli – Lazio is a draw ratio of 2.3
Chelsea – Liverpool – win Liverpool with odds of 1.9
Bet 100$, and total – factor of 7.86.
If all matches would end so, as you indicated, you will receive a payment of about 786$. If at least one match will not end like the Parlay, you will lose the bet (100$).
Naturally, the more events included in the parlay, the greater will be the resulting factor, but the probability of coincidence of all results becomes smaller and the chance of passage of such Parlay low. Therefore, experts recommend not betting on long Parlay with a large number of matches is a sure way to give their money to the bookies.
Some bookmakers can limit the number of events in one Parlay, for example, up to 16 pieces. In addition, you cannot add in Parlay events that linked and their outcome depend on each other.
The system is sort of parlay, but with the added feature of limiting the number of passable matches or events. If you decide to bet on parlay, but doubt the outcome of one or more matches, the system will help you with this. It complements the Parlay function of obstruction events. What does it mean? If you put the system in five matches, but I doubt in two matches, you choose bet “3 of 5”, which means two matches can end in a different outcome. The payout amount of the winning calculated by special formula, which depends on the number of exceptions from the system. The gain in the system will be lower than it could be simple if bet parlay, but using the system you insure yourself and you can guarantee yourself if you win, then at least a partial return put money.
How it works and calculates the system? Let’s say you want to bet on “3 of 5” (3/5). The total number of combinations of the three winning matches is 10 options (see table below). Roughly speaking, you make 10 separate bets. When you bet on a system of 1000$ the tenth part (i.e. 100$) departs on each option combination – in total you have 10 bets for 100$ each.
